The Russian developer of avionics systems for civil aviation JSC Azimut traditionally participated in the International exhibition on air traffic management and control ATC Global. An annual meeting of world leaders in the production of aeronautical equipment, representatives of aviation authorities, airport services and airlines was held in Beijing. More than 60 companies presented their products and services in the field of air traffic management in the exhibition hall.
«JSC Azimut has taken part in ATC Global in a new format for the third time. Back in 2014, in Beijing, our booth became one of the most attended ones: we presented an aerodrome control tower with workstations of air traffic controllers, demonstrating the unique capabilities of Galaxy air traffic control automation system (ATC AS) developed by us. Last year, ATC Global took place in the United Arab Emirates, where interest in AZIMUT product range increased manifolds», – said Director-General of JSC Azimut Asker Saidov, stressing that the outcome of the Russian company’s participation in international exhibitions was invitations to participate in tenders for the modernization of air navigation equipment in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
At ATC Global 2016 in China, JSC Azimut presented Galaxy air traffic control automation system (ATC AS), which has successfully operated in Russia and abroad.
«In addition to demonstrating the developed systems and means of air navigation, the International exhibition on air traffic control ATC Global provides participants with the opportunity to share best practices, to participate in discussions on air safety issues in order to establish new partnerships with Chinese companies. For example, our specialists visited a local company ADCC – a telecommunication services operator, got acquainted with the message centre, discussed the possibility of joint activities in the field of technologies VDL2/ACARS, ADS-B and monitoring of satellite constellations», – concluded Mr Saidov.
In 2017, ATC Global will be held at the National Centre of Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
