Noyabrsk airport, located 9 km south-west of the central part of the town of Noyabrsk, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Russia, covers an area of about 20 hectares. The airport has one runway and one heliport.

The automatic direction finder DF2000, produced by Azimut JSC and installed at Noyabrsk airport, provides for accurate aircraft direction-finding within the sectors where controlled flight routes run in the terminal area, which allows the controller to determine aircraft movement direction.

All the works on commissioning the air navigation equipment have been done in the interests of FSUE «State ATM Corporation». Under the contract, Azimut JSC specialists carried out installation, starting-up and adjustment works, as well as the briefing of operating personnel, ground tests and introductory flight checks.
