At Ignatievo international airport, the commissioning of an automated transmitting and receiving centre TRS 2000, produced by a leading Russian developer and supplier of civil aviation equipment, Azimut JSC, has been completed.
Ignatievo international airport is called an air gate to the Amur region. It is located fifteen kilometres from the centre of Blagoveshchensk. The airport serves not only the settlements located in the territory of the Amur region, but also the bordering areas of Eastern Siberia and the Far East.
The automated transmitting and receiving centre TRS2000 is designed to provide fixed channels for transmitting and receiving information between controllers and aircraft crews.
As part of the contract, specialists of Azimut JSC carried out the installation and commissioning of the equipment, the breifing of operating personnel, as well as ground tests and introductory flight checks.
