On October 8-10, 2019, a significant event for the African continent took place in Cairo: an international exhibition “Big industrial week” within the framework of which an African industrial forum “Africa: the territory of advanced production” was held. As part of the forum, the 12th meeting of the Joint Russian-Egyptian Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation was held. It was chaired by Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Amr Nassar, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
"More than 5 years of hard work of our company in Egypt enables us to speak about the effectiveness of the established communications, high trust of the customer and, of course, about the desire not to rest on our oars, but to move further.”- said the CEO of Azimut JSC Asker Saidov.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Azimut JSC and the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
The Russian Federation had been invited by the Arab Republic of Egypt as a partner country for the development of high-tech production in the territory of the inviting party. The "Big industrial week" was the first analogue of the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM abroad. More than 100 largest innovative enterprises took part in the exhibition and business part of the programme, which confirms high interest in cooperation.
Azimut JSC with the assistance of the Rostec State Corporation develops, manufactures commercially, and supplies, on a turnkey basis, civil aviation enterprises with the facilities of communication, navigation, landing, surveillance, and air traffic control automation, as well as develops and implements integrated projects of equipping and re-equipping aerodromes and air traffic control centres.
