AZIMUT: successful cooperation within CIS framework

AZIMUT JSC has signed contracts for the supply of air navigation equipment to the Republic of Kazakhstan. Azimut JSC will equip a new modern international airport in the town of Turkestan ("Turkistan International Airport") with an automatic radio direction finder DF 2000 and two Instrument landing systems ILS2700/DME/NL2700.

Following the results of commissioning, the airport will be able to serve about three million passengers a year.

Completion of all works is planned for September 2020.

According to Asker Saidov, CEO of Azimut JSC, signing these contracts is another step in the development of the air traffic control system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, illustrative of close economic and technological ties between companies of the CIS and EEU member-states.
