On June 26, 2020, a meeting on the progress of the project to establish a consolidated centre for the Unified Air Traffic Management System, chaired by Deputy Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency D. V. Yadrov, was held in St. Petersburg. The meeting was attended by the CEO of FSUE “State ATM Corporation” I. N. Moiseenko, Deputy CEO of FSUE “State ATM Corporation” E. Melnikov, the acting Head of the North-West Interregional Territorial Department of Rosaviatsiay (Federal Air Transport Agency) V. Khavkhatov, the Director of the branch “Air navigation of the North-West” E. Novozhonov, the CEO of Azimut JSC A. Saidov, and Deputy Director of “Almaz – Antey” Air and Space Defence Corporation” JSC D Savitsky.
During the meeting, the main key points of the project implementation were discussed; the status of the project implementation was updated compared to the previous meeting held in October 2019; and the construction site was visited by all participants of the meeting.
According to the CEO of Azimut JSC A. K. Saidov, despite the challenging situation with restrictions on the implementation of construction and installation works, the company is meeting the deadlines. Azimut JSC plans to start installation of equipment in September-October, and to complete commissioning in December 2020, thereby ensuring the obligations assumed.
