Azimut JSC purposefully and actively participates in the implementation of the national project "Digital economics of the Russian Federation". Many years of practical experience, scientific developments and a systematic approach to the problem enabled Azimut JSC to win the tender for the performance of research work on the topic "Research, development and approval of the concept of implementation of the ATN aviation telecommunication network using open OSI (ATN/OSI) interaction models and standards, protocols of the Internet IPS package (ATN/IPS), an Action Plan (roadmap) for the creation of the ATN network, as well as tactical and technical requirements for the ATN network equipment»
The research work is carried out within the framework of the Strategy for the development of the Air Navigation system of the Russian Federation, the departmental project "Digital transport and logistics" and is aimed at the introduction of digital services for air navigation services provided to airspace users, harmonization with neighbouring regions and increasing the transit potential of the national airspace.
The key tasks of the work are:
- development and approval of the concept of implementation of the ATN aviation telecommunication network in the Russian Federation using models of interaction of open OSI systems (ATN/OSI) and standards, protocols of the Internet IPS package (ATN/IPS);
- development of an Action Plan (roadmap) for creating a network;
- development of tactical and technical requirements for ATN network equipment;
- development of a draft technical specification for equipping the Air Navigation system of the Russian Federation with the ATN aviation telecommunication network.
