Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation for supporting the activities of the State Council of the Russian Federation A.A. Yurchik chaired an extended meeting of the Heads of the Working Groups of the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of general aviation, and navigation and information technologies based on the GLONASS global navigation satellite system. The meeting was attended by Federal executive branch representatives and the representatives of the Working Group on the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, aviation systems and aviation sports.

The meeting discussed a draft Concept for integrating unmanned aerial vehicles into the unified airspace of the Russian Federation. The draft Concept was prepared by the Ministry of transport for subsequent approval of the Concept by the government of the Russian Federation.

V. V. Solomentsev, Deputy CEO of Azimut JSC, took part in the meeting. During the meeting the participants, including the representative of Azimut JSC, made suggestions for improving the Concept.

The revised draft Concept will be submitted for consideration at the next meeting of the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of general aviation, and navigation and information technologies based on the GLONASS global navigation satellite system.
