This year, following the results of the regional stages, more than 350 individual and collective projects, works with prototypes made by schoolchildren from 70 regions of the Russian Federation were selected for participation in the final of the Conference. Many of the projects, despite the young age of the participants, demonstrate a high level of professionalism and originality of innovative ideas.
The Conference was held with the support of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation for Education and Science, deputies Vladimir Kononov, Ivan Sukharev, Head of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Efficiency Experts (VOIR) Anton Ishchenko, and President of the YuTI Foundation Ekaterina Lycheva. The jury selected 12 works to represent Russia at the international Lepine Competition, the largest and oldest European Exhibition of Inventors, which was postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic. The finalists were congratulated by Igor Sukhotin, Director of the Social Policy Department of MMC Norilsk Nickel PJSC. The company became a partner for the future participation of the Russian delegation at the International Exhibition. Igor Sukhotin spoke about prizes for the 12 participants of the Lepin Competition. These prizes are starter kits for introducing Smart Home technologies into everyday life.
