On July 21, 2021, within the framework of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021, a joint meeting of the Committee for Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electronic and Electrotechnical Industry and the Commission for the Development of the Air Navigation System was held on the topic "Development of basic critical technologies taking into account diversification and import substitution." At the meeting, Deputy CEO for Research and Development of Azimut JSC, Deputy Chairman of the Commission for the Development of the Air Navigation System of the Russian Engineering Union Solomentsev Viktor made an opening speech and report on the topic "Future-oriented digital air traffic service".
The joint work of the lead developers of airborne and ground-borne equipment made it possible to introduce new technologies in a short time for the benefit of airlines and the Unified Air Traffic Management System in the Russian Federation.
Azimut JSC highly appreciates the long-term cooperation with KRET (the Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern) and hopes to implement new projects jointly with it.
The practice of holding joint activities of committees and commissions of the Russian Engineering Union is especially valuable. At such sites, specialists from different industries generate new projects.
I would like to note that the participation of the Deputy Director General of FSUE "State ATM Corporation" Evgeny Melnikov, who set new tasks in the field of import substitution for our enterprises, was especially valuable in the event.
