Azimut, a company within the Rostec State Corporation, has installed a state-of-the-art Doppler radio beacon at Makhachkala Airport. The equipment will help aircraft navigate during flight and landing approaches, making air travel safer in mountainous terrain.

The DVOR 2000/DME/N 2700 radio beacon generates and transmits radio signals that provide aircraft navigation. The beacon is easy to operate and maintain due to the ability to quickly replace individual units without the need to reconfigure the entire system.
